Great news for farmers, woodland owners, foresters and land managers looking for financial support on construction projects. Defra has just revealed it‘s now offering a bigger range of capital items under its Countryside Stewardship scheme and some of these items we can help with.
Our services covered by the scheme
We have a wealth of experience in delivering construction projects for UK farmers and landowners - these range from groundwork packages to the construction of steel-framed buildings, barns, agricultural stores, mezzanines and superstructures.
As part of this scheme, you can now benefit from financial support for some of the services we offer. These include projects to install:
concrete yard renewals
rainwater harvesting equipment
lined bio-beds
collecting yards
slurry and silage stores
low ammonia emission flooring for livestock buildings
Value of the grant significantly increased
The value of the grant has also risen significantly from last year. Under the standalone scheme option, you can now apply for up to £20,000 to fund work on boundaries, trees and orchards, another £20,000 to pay for water capital works and an additional £20,000 for air quality projects. In theory, you could benefit from £60,000 worth of funding.
If you are interested in applying for this grant though, you will need to be quick - the deadline for applications is 30 April. To find out more click here.
